hi writeblr community 💌

i go by alex or sasha ⟡♡⟡ i migrated the work-in-progress blog i started in 2022 to tumblr so that i can publish more about my writing projects; i used to be on tumblr as a teen and i’m so happy to be back! i have 4 “active” WIPs on the brain, and have a frightening 86k+ words for my current manuscript draft ૮ ˶ᵔ ᵕ ᵔ˶ ა ✎▤

⟡♡ i’m still working on my projects page to reflect all my WIPs, but my main draft is updated & active (#MASHA). i reblog visual inspo for each project, so if random aesthetic photos aren’t you’re thing, you won’t wanna follow me! you can track these in my featured tags. i also use #me for personal updates and #mine for original content ᵔ ᵕ ᵔ #alnwrites is for longer writing blog posts!

⟡♡ i started a nanowrimo discord with my long-time creative moot @ayzrules where i try to be active, but instagram is my main platform (⸝⸝ᵕᴗᵕ⸝⸝) i am currently living near salt lake city if there’s any local writers who’d like to connect ✧˖°

⟡♡ here’s a peek of what i was writing a year ago (excerpt from an old blog post) and a summary of what i’m up to these days:

I'm a freelance writer and editor experienced with copy and content writing for social media and mobile apps. I work with clients from around the world. My expertise in copyediting and proofreading ranges from nonfiction, children's literature, and marketing. As a writing consultant, I worked with children, students, and seniors alike on their academic and creative work.

South Florida born and raised, I recently Moved Out West to the postcard state of Utah. My favorite hobby is writing, but I also enjoy long walks (preferably on a beach, hehe) and drives, espresso, traveling (especially to the motherland, la Republica Dominicana), reading a novel or spending time at the gym or pool; I also like to keep up on fashion and music, dive into historical fiction in any form of media, photography, Jewish studies, and baking. I love creating playlists on Spotify to escape in, or boards on Pinterest to wrap my dreams in. You'll find content for my characters on both sites.

I always look forward to new opportunities, so please do not hesitate to reach out. You can find me on the NaNoWriMo site tracking my word count or on Instagram documenting my growth as a creative writer (@alnwrites).
